I went to this gathering today for spouses. We were going to talk about deployment and how to deal with things that might come up. Everyone had to bring an empty wine bottle and we made a message in a bottle craft. The idea is that you put a message to your soldier in it and when it is all filled, you send it to them. Then, they can get out a message when they need it or want to. Here is how mine turned out. Let me tell you, some of those ladies bottle's were really pretty.
